Inside Information
Westside Center for Independent Living (WCIL) is a part of the independent living philosophy which advocates for and empowers people to live to their fullest potential. WCIL treats their clients/consumers with the utmost respect and with an emphasis on the individual and not the disability/illness.
The Empowerment Alliance is the name of our fledgling client-run program. We have been given money to start up another peer-driven program in Area 5 and we hope to get enough people involved that we can eventually get a self-contained clubhouse or other property with which to do classes, groups, and other events for clients.
