Integrated Fleet Stewardship Company is seeking a candidate to fill its The Automotive Prep Tech position. The general duties include but not limited to: pre-delivery inspection of company vehicles, test driving and testing all options, inspecting the interior and exterior of vehicles for damages, installation of accessory parts if needed (ie; roof racks, running boards, etc.) washing, fueling and occasional delivery of vehicles.

Salary for Assembly Line & Forklift:
• $18.88/ hr. first shift 5:00am-1:30pm + overtime
• $19.43/ hr. second shift 3:00pm-11:30pm + overtime
Requirements for Assembly Line & Forklift:
• Must pass criminal background, drug screen.
• NO FELONIES, MISDEMEANORS, DUI’S, FAILURES TO APPEAR, SUSPENDED LICENSE.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Fluent in English; ability to follow instructions, read, write, and speak clearly.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent at time of testing.
• Current H-6 DMV Print-out required at time of testing.
• At least 6 months experience in heavy warehouse, construction, heavy labor manufacturing, heavy assembly or production in the past 6 to 12 months.
• Applicants will need to pass a physical ability production simulation.
• Must have current experience in auto body, heavy assembly, machine operator, and/or manufacturing, production or assembly line type of work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Duties:
• Fast pace heavy assembly work. Working with sheet metal. Machine operation such as spot welders, air tools, and various machinery used in the manufacturing of vehicle parts. Work is repetitive and extremely fast pace. Associates will be wearing personal protective equipment (bump cap, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, sometimes two pairs of gloves as required in each department). Work requires standing, bending, lifting and walking up to 12 hours a day.

The Face and Voice of Formerly Incarcerated
Communication for Adults
Tarzana Treatment Centers and California State University, Northridge present a free exciting eight-week program designed to improve public speaking skills. Managing speech anxiety, and practicing oral presentation skills in every session. Throughout the program, participants will receive training in audience analysis, listening, language and style, verbal and nonverbal delivery, persuasion and more. Develop the skills necessary to become more effective in public speaking. Students that complete program will become members of a speaker’s bureau available to testify on custody and community issues.
